Officially launching on September 1st, is the new Fall Leggy Legend collection from Essie! This collection was previewed last week at the InStyle #SummerSocial event and I have the pleasure of showing you the 6 gorgeous shades.
Essie Global Color Designer, Rebecca Minkoff, was inspired by the influential and chic female rockers of the 70’s such as Janis Joplin and Stevie Nicks when creating this collection. Both of those women wrote and inspired some of the greatest rock ballads and soaring love anthems of the 20th century and those songs became Minkoff’s soundtrack while putting the finishing touches on each of these shades. Rebecca truly put her heart and soul into this Fall collection and I am so ecstatic she is working more closely with the brand. Did you know all of her runway presentations feature live musical accompaniment? Rebecca says there is nothing better than the kinetic energy of live music – And I 100% agree with her!
Leggy Legend Collection
Bell-Bottom Blues : Intense midnight indigo. This shade impressed me right from the start. It is easily a one coater and applied beautifully.
Frock n Roll : Shimmering rich espresso. One of my favorites from this collection – Absolutely stunning and another one that was easily only needed one coat.
Color Binge : Addictive orange red. Definitely not something you normally see in a Fall collection, but I am loving it! It was so creamy and applied beautifully.
In The Lobby : Exotic Cinnamon Plum. Stunningly dark crelly shade. These are my favorite types of colors to wear in the Fall & Winter!
Leggy Legend : Bronze bombshell. I had minor issues with this shade as it does provide some brush strokes, so my advice would be to go slow & steady.
With The Band : Toasted spice burgundy. Classic dark red Fall shade.
The Essie Fall 2015 Leggy Legend Collection officially hits shelves on September 1st. All shades retail for $8.50 each.
Which one of these Fall shades inspires the inner rock goddess in you?
