Hello beauties! Have I got a treat for YOU today! I was lucky enough to get my hands on the BRAND NEW tarte Showstopper Palette that will be released as part of their Summer collection. This is available right now on the Ulta site & through Sephora so if you want it, get your hands on it quick! The Showstopper palette contains 6 brand new eyeshadows, Park Ave Princess bronzer, Highlighter in Champagne Pink & 12 Hour blush in Fame.
This is one of tarte’s ever so famous large disc palettes – and I am OBSESSED with it! The outer packaging is a deep purple faux snakeskin like print with gold outer edging (It reminds me a LOT of the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara) As always with these discs, there is a giant mirror inside.
There is also a plastic sheet that comes with the names, but when I was trying to photograph it, it wasn’t playing nice. I really wish the names were printed like the tartelette palette – But you can’t win them all!
All 6 Amazonian Clay eyeshadow shades in the Showstopper are BRAND NEW.(0.04 oz each) I don’t know if tarte has reformulated these shades, but the quality is absolutely phenomenal. Sometimes tarte shadows can be hit or miss, but the swatches you will see are all one swipe with no primer. They were buttery and smooth and performed incredibly well. There was a bit powder kickback, but it’s nothing that is going to stop me from using this!

The Showstopper palette also includes the infamous Park Ave Princess bronzer, a champagne pink highlight and a brand new blush – Fame. Tarte makes some of the BEST blushes and this is going to be the perfect Summer shade! Each bronzer / highlight pan is 0.14oz. The blush is full size at 0.21oz.

I have pretty much all of their face discs from seasons past and this could definitely be their best one to date. Dare I say I like it better than the Rainforest After Dark palette?! That’s saying a LOT!

It’s the eyeshadows I’m drawn to. Those are great. I’d be afraid that the bronzer and blush would be too dark for me though. I guess a trip to Ulta will be necessary to test this out.

That is one pretty palette! I already own the Rainforest After Dark palette and I am a bit sad that the bronzer and highlighter are the same shades in this one again. But it looks like a great allround palette for traveling in Spring and Summer. Decisions, decisions 😉

Do you think that dim the lights has too much glitter to be used to fill in define/eyebrows? The color is perfect for mine but I’m worried that there might be too much glitter to work for that purpose. Having one compact for eyes, blush, bronzer, highlight and eyebrows would be amazing and so easy to take on the go!
