This was the very first makeup item I have tried from BH Cosmetics and so far I am loving it! The duo blush palette comes in a sleek black plastic case and contains 3 large duo blushes. Each can be worn alone or mixed together to create a totally different look.
One half of the blush is matte & the other shimmer. You can see there is definitely a wide variety of colors ranging from pinks, peaches & a more bronze shade. I found that the darker colors were way more pigmented than the lighter shades. They were all soft to the touch and pretty finely milled.
Duo #1 – Golden Warm Shades. Both of these colors were fairly pigmented and easy to work with.
You can definitely use the right side to bronze up your complexion a bit as well!
Duo #2 – I absolutely loved how the matte dark pink looked on my skintone. It’s beautiful on! The light color was pretty as well, but I really had difficulty getting any color on my brush. Not as pigmented as I would have liked it to be.
You can see on my arm swatch, that the light pink barely shows up. That was after 3 swipes.
Duo #3 – The matte hot pink is to die for! Absolutely gorgeous! Again, barely any pigmentation with the lighter shimmer side.
I think what’s really great about this palette is you technically are getting 6 blushes for the price of one. And if those bright blushes scare you, don’t let them! I noticed when I mixed each of the colors together they complimented each other really well. So even though there was barely any pigmentation with a few of them, they mix in really nicely with the brighter matte shades.
