Holiday sets are upon us! (In October!?) and tarte has just released their Sweet Dreams collection! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on their new blush palette as I am still obsessed with last years.

This years blush palette, which is a Sephora exclusive, contains 5 brand new shades and is housed in a gold & purple clutch. You also get 2 fancy hair pins which are removable. 

For me, the packaging is just okay. It’s very pretty don’t get me wrong, but it’s pretty bulky and cheap looking. The clasp to open the palette is flimsy and I am so scared it’s going to somehow pop off every time I open it up. I definitely liked last years packaging much better. 

Inside you reveal a decent sized mirror and 5 all new 12 hour Amazonian Clay blushes. If you have ever used Tarte blushes in the past, you know how amazing these are! I’m pretty sure I own every single shade known to man and then some! 
L-R – Breathless, Embraced, Whimsy, Bashful & Irreplaceable

Breathless : Pinky Beige

Embraced : Plum Rose

Whimsy : Light Pink

Bashful : Rosy Peach

Irreplaceable : Mauve Rose

I found all of these shades to be up to Tarte standards. They all swatched beautifully and were packed with pigmentation. I absolutely LOVE Breathless! It’s such a beautiful neutral blush that will look amazing with a dark lip. 
This is one of those sets that is going to sell out VERY quickly! If you are on the fence about it, I say just pull the trigger and go for it or else you’ll regret it later on!  For $42, it’s an incredible steal as ONE of these blushes retails for $26.

    I really like the look of breathless. The others look too pink tones for me, but then my cheeks are naturally quite flushed anyway.

    I love the colors on this palate. These are the colors that look good with my skin tone. Thanks for introducing it to me. I’ll have to give it a try and see how it looks on my skin.
