I’ll be completely honest with you. I was dreading making this update because I didn’t want to weigh in this weekend. My last update was August 29th which was right before Labor Day and I already knew the entire weekend was going to be shot. And I was right. Chris & I pretty much ate out Friday (Pizza) & Saturday (Buffalo Wild Wings) and then we had steak, asparagus and a baked potato on Sunday night. And then Monday rolled around and I had one of my mom’s amazing ranch burgers, pasta salad, cake, chips & salsa & salad. Pretty bad right? Whoops!
So on Tuesday, I was determined to get RIGHT back on track and definitely not weigh in until the very very end of the week. Well that lasted for a day, because Wednesday Chris & I went out for pizza before he left for a business trip. So I knew Thursday & Friday would be a cake walk for me. And they were. But enough rambling about my bad choices. It happens. I knew it was going to happen so I was prepared for when I got on the scale this morning.
I’m actually HAPPY to report I lost a pound and a half which means I will be hitting 10 pounds in no time and Nutrisystem will be sending me a 10 pound Nutribear to celebrate the loss! I’ll be making sure I’m on track 100% throughout the weekend!
A few tidbits I do want to mention though –
- No I didn’t take any before photos of myself before this journey. I really wish I did though.
- I also went for my first Victoria’s Secret bra fitting and was astonished by how much it’s changed in the past few weeks. I went from a 36 to a 34. It might not be much to some of you, but I was amazed.
- Tried on a pair of jeans at Target and I fit into a size NINE. I used to be between an 11 & 13 in target jeans depending on the style. I might have did a small dance in the dressing room.
