Happy Friday beauties! I hope you all had a wonderful week and a fun weekend planned! Mine is going to consist of cleaning off my makeup table. I would post a photo of what it currently looks like, but it makes me ill. haha!

Anyways, today I have some products from BH Cosmetics to share with you and a pretty awesome discount code! Let’s jump right in!

First up are the BH Cosmetics Creme Luxe Lipsticks. This set is called ‘Summer’ and includes the following creamy colors – Forever Nude, Pop Cultured & Coral Escape

This was my first time trying out lip products from BH Cosmetics and I have to say, I am highly impressed! These remind me so much of the Revlon Lip Butters but creamier and with much more pigmentation. They are enriched with shea butter, Vitamin E & Beeswax to keep your lips moisturized and hydrated throughout the day.

The next item I want to talk about is the Day & Night 60 color palette.  I am a HUGE HUGE fan of BH blushes, so I was pretty excited to try out some of their shadows in a huge palette like this. I am currently testing out their California collection and have had fabulous results with them, so I had high expectations. (Especially with all the great press this palette gets on YouTube)
So inside, you get 60 shadows. A mix of mattes & shimmers and tons of color variety.  You can do a smokey look, neutral or go wild with these! So as I started swatching a few of the colors with my finger, I noticed I wasn’t getting as much pigmentation as I would have liked. The lighter shades came off very chalky and barely showed up on my arm let alone my eyelid. The darker colors were nice. Still a tad chalky and I really needed to work with them. 
Here are a few of the darker colors swatched.  I ended up swatching these without primer and instead used a little bit of MAC’s Fix+.  These colors didn’t come off so bad. The lighter ones I really struggled with.
Here you can see some of the lighter shades. That first color was about 3 swipes with my finger & as you can see, looks terrible. The middle two are just okay. The yellow is so chalky and had TONS of fall out. 
Like I said, I was really excited to test out the day & night palette but it is a definite miss for me. I have had more luck with the blush palettes and the new California collection. The lipsticks on the other hand are absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend picking up that trio for sure!
