KBShimmer Spring 2015 Collection | Swatches & Review

Spring has Sprung over at KBShimmer HQ and I am SO excited to share these gorgeous new shades with you! This collection is fairly large and contains glitters, holos and even a VERY opaque white cream polish! This collection releases on Friday, February 6th at 9am PST / Noon EST.

*All shades were topped with KBShimmer Clearly On Top*

Blue-d Lines – Cool toned blue holographic.  Unbelievably gorgeous shade – Two coats were used in the photo below.

Blush Money – Based on the 2015 Pantone color, Strawberry Ice, this is peachy pink shows off gold shimmer indoors & and shines a linear holographic outdoors. This could definitely be my favorite shade of the collection, but we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Photo below shows two coats.

Cool Hand Cuke – Pale mint green loaded with pastel glitters in circles, triangles, stars & hexes. Christy also added a touch of holo sparkle.  This shade screams Spring to me! Photo below shows two coats.

Eyes White Open – A creamy and VERY opaque white cream shade. This is a must have in every polish lovers collection. Completely opaque in just one coat.  (Photo below shows two for good measure)

Funky Cold Patina – Cool turquoise base with pops of metallic copper, blue and purple.  Loving this color combination. Photo below shows two coats.

I’m So Sweet Pea – The palest of purple bases with an explosion of glitters in pink, mint, purple & turquoise.  I didn’t think I was going to be a fan of this one, but I am SO loving it! Photo below shows two coats.

Ins & Sprouts – Pale green citron linear holographic. Love the name, love the color. This is SO amazing in the sun! Photo below shows two coats.

Meow Or Never – Based on the Pantone Spring color, Glacier Grey, this has a very pale grey (almost white) base, with pops of purple, sky blue, periwinkle & grey. Photo below shows two coats.

Sweet Egg-Scape – Pale bubblegum pink base. Glitters such as pastel aqua stars, coral triangles, lavender dots & red squares swim inside like a decorated Easter egg. I’m a sucker for a good bubblegum pink shade with glitters! Photo below shows two coats.

Thistle Be The Day – Pale pink / purple linear holographic. Okay – so this one may be my favorite holo in the collection. Just take a minute to appreciate it. Photo below shows two coats.

To Peach His Own – Pale peach polish shines with holographic glitters in lime green, gold, violet & magenta. I don’t know if I’m a huge fan of how this looks against my skintone, but the glitter combo is spot on. Photo below shows two coats.

Wind Swarm – Based on the 2015 Pantone Color Aquamarine, this shade features a pale sky blue base, a mix of purple, gold, white & pink glitters and a hint of micro glitters. Absolutely stunning! Photo below shows two coats.

Overall, the Spring 2015 from KBShimmer may just be her best collection yet. There is not ONE single polish in this bunch that I had issues applying or were tricky – Even the stark white shade! I don’t know how she did it, but it was not streaky one bit like some other polishes I have worked with in the past.

The Spring collection launches on February 6th at Noon EST / 9am PST. There will also be some Spring nail vinyl sheets as well! (I don’t have those available to show you – but they are adorable!)

    This is my favourite Spring 2015 collection so far. I think To Peach His Own looks fine on your skintone! Also loooove Meow or Never and all the holos.

    I’m so in love with this collection. Every swatch I see is like screaming ‘buy me now’! I was actually debating which ones to nab right now before my hubs gets home lol.

    Those holo’s are stunning!!! Thistle be the day is pretty much the most gorgeous polish I’ve ever seen, and a white that’s opaque in one coat?! Sounds amazing! 😀

    I love those holos and the glitters remind me so much of the malted egg candies you can get at Easter with the speckles on them. This is the perfect collection for spring.
