For the past 3 weeks, I have been using the shampoo, conditioner, glossing tonic and the star of the set – Pre Wash Primer! How did I not know there were primers for your hair out there!?
The NEW Nexxus Color Assure Pre-Wash Primer is a pre-treatment to shield hair in the shower. It helps to repel water, so color stays longer and more vibrant. The Pre-Wash Primer is sulfate-free and infused with a blend of clear oils, including almond, coconut and argan oil.

Right before you head into the shower, you pump 4-6 pumps in your dry hair concentrating on the ends and then working your way up. For me, 6 pumps was A LOT and made my hair feel very greasy even after washing it out. 4 pumps worked perfect for me. After using this primer for a few weeks, my color was still vibrant and looked like I had JUST dyed it! My hair was soft, smooth and just looked and felt healthy.
I spritzed the glossing tonic after I blew dry and curled my hair and it gave it so much extra amazing shine!
The overall system is absolutely fantastic and I will definitely continue to use it from here on out. I dye my hair quite a bit, so this will be perfect to keep the color in tact.
