Happy Friday and welcome to the very first Friday Favorites & Fails! I hope you guys will enjoy reading these posts each week and hopefully you can put a few things on your beauty wish list!

Face Products

L.A. Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer – $2.29 Buy Here I don’t know how I lived without this concealer in my life! It’s VERY comparable to the MAC Pro Longwear concealer but for a fraction of the price. I have mine in 3 different shades – One for under the eyes, blemishes & to highlight. They have a HUGE range of shades so you are bound to find one that works for you! 
Maybelline Pure BB Beauty Balm – $8.99 Buy Here I honestly had no idea what exactly this was when I first got it in the mail to try out. It has a VERY light sheer application BUT I have been using it as a base for my foundation and it’s AWESOME. It has 2% Salicylic Acid in it and I swear it has been clearing up my blemishes.  It removes the redness from my face and just gives a little extra coverage that my foundation or concealer can’t do. 

Blush Favorites

MAC Pink Cult – $22 – Buy Here – I talked about this blush in a recent review HERE, so I won’t go too much into detail.  It’s just a nice natural looking matte pink blush that is great for every day wear! 
Tarte Blush in True Love – $26 – Buy Here – If I want to do something a little bold on my cheeks, I have been reaching for True Love from Tarte! These blushes are phenomenal and last such a long time on me. 
Mascara 

Maybelline Pumped Up! Waterproof Mascara – $5.99 Buy Here I REALLY love this new mascara from Maybelline! I can’t promise you it will replace The Rocket mascara, but it’s pretty darn close! It makes my lashes HUGE  and is definitely waterproof. I wore this on Rylan’s first day of pre school and while I was crying all the way home, it didn’t budge.  The formula is a little dry, but that works for me personally. I’m not a huge fan of super wet mascaras. 
Lips

MAC Lipstick in Diva – $16 Buy Here – Oh yes.. I have busted out my dark vampy lip colors already. Diva is an absolute Fall must have if you want to rock a bold dark lip this season.  I heard it sells out extremely fast this time of year, so if you have been wanting it, go grab it while you can! Even though it’s a matte formula, I didn’t find it too drying at all. It wears like iron on me! 
NYX Matte Lipstick in Merlot – $6 – Buy Here – If you don’t want to spend the money on a MAC lipstick, NYX has some incredible matte vampy shades! I discovered Merlot this week in my stash, put it on and it was love at first swatch. It’s SO unbelievably creamy that it didn’t even feel like I had a matte lip on! The color payoff is so intense.

    The NYX lippie in Merlot lis a beauty and a steal! Wish we had LA Girl around here. I’d love to try the concealer, but I’m too cheap to pay the shipping costs on an inexpensive item 😉

    I actually have the Maybelline Pure BB Beauty Balm and love it! My mom and sister happen to use the Pumped Up! Mascara which they swear by and I’ve been meaning to give it a try!

    I bought the LA Girl concealer and did not like it. The coverage was weak (compared to my Holy Grail MAC Pro Longwear), and it fades really fast, especially during summertime. I only enjoy waterproof concealers, cause it’s the only thing I need to last all day on me.

    I have to buy a new Diva… I backed to MAC it last year and never bought a new one… probably because Milani came out with so many shades I didn’t think I needed it. I likey your friday favs 😀

    The mac Diva looks like something I would wear. I am also very intrigued about the LA Concealer line. The price is nice, and I do wear concealer, it’s Almay brand right now..but I’m always open to save money.
