I’ve never been a huge fan of Pinterest. I feel like every time I go to pin something or click on the item to see where I can buy it, the URL is broken or there is no information available. Plus, I always seem to get side tracked every time I see a beauty item or makeup look! But it’s SO frustrating that some of the nail & makeup looks I try to pin, I can’t find the information I’m looking for. Then along came Pampadour, the brand new online platform EXCLUSIVELY for beauty items!
With Pampadour, you can get advice on products, interact with other members and it also gives you an option to purchase the product immediately if it’s available online!
There are 3 types of ‘buttons’ you can use on Pampadour – Tag It, Clip It & PampIt.
Tag It : Users can upload their own photo and TagIt with products they used or that inspired the look. It’s incredibly easy to use.
ClipIt : With this feature, you can install it directly to your toolbar and drag items from the web and so you don’t have to right click, save and upload. Pretty genius right?
PampIt : You can share beauty products and collect them in your profile. If you don’t want to add something to your profile right away, you can go in and ‘heart’ it with the ‘AdourIt’ feature.
I think my favorite thing about Pampadour is you can create ‘collections’ much like boards on Pinterest. These collections would be perfect for sending to family members or loved ones around the Holidays so they can see what’s on your wish list!
