(PSA : Neons are incredibly difficult to capture on camera, so I did the best I could. These are as true to life as I could get them! All of these polishes dried to a semi matte finish)
Foxy Mama – Bright traffic cone orange with a slight shimmer. This shade is 10x brighter in real life! The shimmer is very faint, but still shows up beautifully on the nail. Photo below shows two coats plus top coat.
Not So Mellow Yellow – Highlighter yellow with slight shimmer. This is exactly the neon yellow I have been craving this season! And I absolutely love that I don’t need a base underneath to make the color really pop. Formula was a bit thick, but manageable. Photo below shows two coats plus top coat.
Bell Bottom Babe – Bright cobalt blue with a slight pink shimmer. This is probably the only polish in the Poptastic collection that isn’t really a true neon. It’s beautiful and bright, but not anywhere close to being neon. Photo below shows two coats plus top coat.
Kapow! – Hot pink with a slight purple shimmer. PERFECT name of this polish! This pink is so bright, it will literally stop traffic! Formula was spot on. Photo below shows two coats plus top coat.
Right On – Bright purple with a blue / purple shimmer shift. I adore this color so much! Finally – a great neon purple shade! Formula was incredibly easy to work with. Photo below shows two coats plus top coat.
Peace, Love & Polish – Pink / coral neon with a golden shimmer. How adorable is the name of this? This isn’t showing up as bright as it is in real life, but it is gorgeous! Photo below shows two coats plus top coat.
Overall, I am INCREDIBLY impressed with this collection from Color Club. These shades are SPOT ON in terms of shade, formula and opacity. And best of all – You do NOT need to take that extra step and apply a white base to make them neon. Way to go CC!
