Red Zone – Red, white & black glitters in various shapes and sizes in a clear base. Red Zone was inspired by the Wisconsin Badgers Football team. I like the mix of colors in this one – Very unique. I have this polish layered over Seche Silly But Sensible. I didn’t have any formula issues with this one at all. The glitter came out nicely and applied well to the nail with no fishing issues.
Slam Dunk – Red & green hex glitter combined with white square glitter in a clear base. Slam Dunk was inspired by the Milwaukee Bucks Basketball team. So Christmas-y & fun! I have this layered over OPI ‘All I Want For Christmas (Is OPI)’ I love small square glitter so this was right up my alley! Great formula on this one as well.
Say Cheese – Metallic gold & green hexes & matte white circle glitter in a clear base. Say Cheese was inspired by the Green Bay Packers Football team. Does this remind you of Mardi Gras or what?! I absolutely love this combo! I have Say Cheese layered over Seche Clever & Confident. Formula on this was a little thick, but nothing impossible to work with. Just use the dab & spread method!
Home Run – Matte blue square, metallic gold hex & white square glitter in a clear base. This polish was inspired by the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball team. Out of all of the polishes in this collection, this was by far the thickest of formulas. The glitter in Home Run is extremely chunky, so if that’s not your thing you probably won’t enjoy this polish. I have this layered over OPI ‘Keeping Suzi At Bay’. I didn’t mind the chunkiness of the glitter – It looks incredibly pretty paired with this OPI!
Overall, I think CJ Lacquer has some pretty great polishes! I did have one issue with the brush on Slam Dunk. It was kind of crooked but it still did the job. Nothing serious! CJ Lacquer is fairly new to the indie world and I think she’s here to stay! Definitely check out this collection and more in her Etsy shop linked below! And be sure to give her a big ‘LIKE’ on facebook!
