Nutrisystem Week 4 Update

Good Morning! I’m going to make this update short and sweet today. I’m frustrated. I stepped on the scale this morning and gained a pound. How? I honestly have no idea. I went to a party over the weekend where everyone had burgers and hot dogs and such. I sat there with my salad and Nutrisystem dinner and dessert.

What kills me even more is I’ve been adding in daily Pilates from Cassey over at ‘Blogilates’. Plus, my husband is on a no carb diet and is down 9 pounds in a week. So needless to say, I’m beyond frustrated and don’t know what else to do at this point.

I guess the only thing I can do is work ten times harder this week to now try and get rid of this extra pound and continue to meet my goal.

That’s all I really have to say about this week. I’m not thrilled.

    I know it’s frustrating, but our bodies can fluctuate between 1-3 pounds daily! Don’t let the scale dictate how you feel!

    I’m sorry you’re down, Jess. Shipra may be right. You might be toning up! Plus, you could easily be up 2-3 lbs in water weight only. Which would mean you actually lost 2 lbs! (course, when my hubs tries to tell me that…it does little to relieve the frustration!)

    Oh man πŸ™ Sometimes our bodies do weird things when we diet and especially where you just began exercising, I’m wondering if it could be a small increase in muscle? Or could it potentially be water retention? Good for you for sticking with it AND adding pilates (my favorite!) πŸ˜‰
