Diets. We’ve all been there at some point in our lives. If you asked me 3 years ago if I ever needed to go on a diet plan, I would have said probably not. But then I got pregnant and gained quite a bit of weight. Which is completely normal – I totally embraced the ‘But it’s for the baby!’ excuse and ate everything I wanted. Now here we are, almost 3 years later (Next Friday Rylan will turn 3) and I am still struggling to lose everything I put on.
I did end up losing quite a bit after he was born, but there is still so much I am struggling with. Every now and then I’ll say to Mr. Love For Lacquer “Monday I am starting the _____ diet” That either meant juicing, the military diet, special K diet, weight watchers or whatever else I could come up with. I would do it for a couple of weeks and then get bored and have absolutely no motivation.
When asked to partner with Nutrisystem Nation, I was ecstatic. This is something I can do and this is something I can stick with. My mom had done this quite a few years back and had really great success with it. So needless to say, I absolutely said YES. I will be eating three previously prepared balanced meals a day that will be portioned as well as incorporating fresh vegetables, fruits & dairy. As well as moderate exercise.
For the next 3 months, I am going to be taking you on my Nutrisystem journey. Each week I will be blogging about my ups, my downs and everything in between. I am really excited to share this with you guys and I hope you will enjoy the updates and cheer me on! My goal right now is to lose roughly 25 pounds. I know I can do it. I have faith in myself that this is it. This is finally my chance to get back in shape and get my body back on track!
