Are you a Betty or a Veronica?
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you’re all staying safe & warm in this crazy blizzard we’re having on the Northeast right now! Today I have a brand new eyeshadow palette from the MAC Archie’s Girls Collection that has just launched in stores and online!
MAC totally hit it out of the park with this collection! It’s broken up into two parts – A Betty collection, which is pink, girly & feminine and then the Veronica collection is more deep, sultry and sexy!
The quad I’m showing you today, Caramel Sundae, is from the Betty collection! Let’s get started!
So it comes packaged in this adorable white case with the Archie’s Girls logo embossed on the front. I love how it’s printed on the packaging rather than being a sticker. Very sleek & travel friendly!
And on the back, it tells you the name & finishes of the shadows.
Cheryl Chic, (Frost), Dreammaker (Frost), Caramel Sundae (Satin) & ShowStopper (Matte)
It comes with a decent size mirror and 4 beautiful shadows! Usually when MAC releases these special packaged quads, the quality & pigmentation is not up to par with their single shadows. I have to say, I was VERY impressed with these! I love the mix of finishes and the colors are so gorgeous! I didn’t have any issues with any of them being chalky. They applied really well!
L-R ~ Cheryl Chic, Dreammaker, Caramel Sundae, Showstopper
This would be a perfect quad for a Valentine’s Day look! Pair it with a fun, bright lip and you’re ready to hit the town!
The quad does sell for $44, which is pretty pricey. Even though the colors are pretty decent & beautiful, I would say you’re definitely paying for the packaging on this one.
Did you pick anything up from this collection? What are your thoughts?

only $5 more for the Oz Palette from Urban Decay and you get a lipgloss, too. I love MAC, but $44 is too much for this.
very pricey but I do love those colours! 🙂
This collection is so cute!

I saw an ad for this collection at the mall yesterday but didn’t get to check it out (I’m sadly a little behind on blog reading). I’m not really sure what I was expecting, but this palette, while pigmented, is a little bit of a disappointment. I was expecting more…..I don’t know what, but I’m definitely able to pass on this one and move onto something else. As always, thank you for yet another lovely review!
You’re welcome! There are some other pieces I have scheduled to review as well, that are MUCH better than this quad! 🙂
