Jessica Cosmetics Gelato Mio Collection!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM Gelato! What an absolutely PERFECT Summer collection from Jessica Cosmetics! Usually pastels are a hit or miss because of formula.. but I can 100% honestly tell you, these are wonderful! I did have a MINOR issue and I will get to that as the review progresses. Let’s take a look (And prepare to have your mouth watering!)

Banana Peel – This soft yellow went on fabulous in two coats! Definitely the perfect ending to ANY sundae! 

Lime Cooler – This was very deceiving! In the bottle, I thought it was going to be a pastel minty green and it happens to me a bright lime! Picture below shows two coats. 

Strawberry Shake It – I am LOVING pastel pinks right now and having this one in my collection makes me so giddy! YUM! 

Surfer Boyz ‘ Berry – My SECOND favorite in this collection! Stunning aqua blue that shines in the sun. Watch out boys! 😉 (Ps. the name on this is the CUTEST) 

Tangerine Dreamz – Ahh tangerine. The pantone color of 2012. This one didn’t disappoint at all! 

Barely Blueberry – Light blues are another weakness of mine (The first being mint green) Yes, I probably have about 20 dupes of this color in my collection, but there was something crazy awesome about the formula that makes this one a keeper. Photo below shows two coats. 

And because I loved Barely Blueberry SO much, I decided to take Sonnetarium Snowfall and give it a little wintery look!

Lacquer Lowdown – I did mention one minor flaw about these.. and it could have just been a few wonky bottles that I had gotten.. but I noticed a LOT of stray brush hairs every time I would apply the polish to my nail. So then I would have to take it off and re-start because when I tried pulling the hair out, it would ruin the application on the nail.  Like I said, it could have just been my polishes in general but it definitely wouldn’t ever steer me away from ever using their products again. These pastels were absolutely amazing!
