REVIEW ~ Tarte – Lights, Camera, LASHES

Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a fabulous night! Tonight I am SO excited to share with you my newest addition to my mascara collection. Most of you know I LOVE mascara.. so when given the opportunity to review this particular one, I was so overwhelmed with joy.

Tarte describes this as a push-up bra for your lashes™ a 4-in-1 (lengthening, curling, volumizing and conditioning) dermatologist tested mascara that gives dramatic, thick, sexy lashes and is clinically proven to increase lash volume by 424%.

Tarte – Lights, Camera, Lashes is probably one of the best mascara’s I have ever owned. Everything about it is phenomenal. ESPECIALLY the results!

Quick Facts : LCL is formulated withOUT ~ parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate & synthetic fragrance. Tarte is also cruelty-free. 
The packaging on this mascara is SO unique. (I’m a sucker for cute packaging as it is) At first when I took it out of the box, I thought the mascara was just hanging out in a reusable pouch.. but come to find out.. that’s the product! So the pouch is this beautiful purple shimmery faux snakeskin print. SO cute & has my name written all over it.

The Brush : LCL has a very small,  thin, plain looking wand.  In my opinion, it’s absolutely perfect. It does the job and is great for reaching the lower lashes.

The Results : I wanted to use this product for quite some time before I sat down and reviewed it. I’ve probably been using LCL for a good 2 weeks now & couldn’t be happier! The formula is so smooth and glides onto your lashes with ease. I have medium length lashes as it is, and when I apply this it literally looks like I have a set of falsies on. I really couldn’t believe the end results. My lashes were touching my brow bone! And of course.. the best part of all no smudging and no flaking!

The only bad thing I can say about this mascara is I’m going to hate to throw away the packaging once it runs out. Maybe in the future Tarte can make it into a reusable pouch somehow.

Price ~ $19 USD. I know what you’re thinking.. but honestly.. you get what you pay for with this mascara.. And you’re going to get beautiful, dramatic lashes!

    Great review! I’m always looking for a good mascara to tame my lashes. I have enough natural length, but I need something to tame my lashes plus add volume. The packaging is so pretty too! And I love that the brush seems small instead of really long bristles..good for getting close to the roots like I need.

    I do own this mascara! I am a huge fan of Tarte cosmetics — I love their ingredient lists and packaging. I really like the way this product works, but I actually don’t love the packaging on this specific mascara because it’s a little bulky in my hand. That said, I will continue to use it because I love it so much! Great review.
