butter LONDON Autumn / Winter 2013 Swatches, Review & GIVEAWAY!

Happy Tuesday beauties! Are you ready for an incredibly awesome giveaway and review post today? I partnered up with one of my favorite online stores, b-glowing.com, and they are giving one of you the entire butter LONDON Autumn / Winter 2013 Collection! How awesome are they? But first, let’s take a look at what they look like and my thoughts!

Before I start out, butter LONDON has me all sorts of confused! For Spring / Summer, they released some deep bronze shades and now for Autumn & Winter, they came out with a bang and released 6 crisp, bright colors. No complaining here though – I love all of them!

Cotton Buds – I am always on the hunt for a streak free, bright crisp white polish. I can safely say my search is over. Cotton Buds is absolutely perfection. I had no application issues and was able to apply this flawlessly in two coats. I wore this for 3 days straight and had no chipping at all!

Cake Hole – Not quite neon pink creme. It’s definitely way brighter in person, but not a bam in your face color. I’ll always add more pinks to my collection. Photo below shows two coats. 
Giddy Kipper – Indigo blue with a hint of shimmer. Absolutely love this polish! I wish the shimmer was a bit more visible on the nail, but either way it’s still gorgeous! I ended up using three coats for the photo below. Two was okay, but three makes it much more pigmented! 
Pimms – In case the winter blues get you down, throw on Pimms to remind you of bright sunny days! I really enjoy how fun and vibrant Pimms is! Again, I used three coats for this photo because two was still a bit streaky for my taste. 
Wellies – butter LONDON describes this as a grass green, but I see it more as a chartreuse color. Very fun, very bright.. Amazing pigmentation. Definitely will be wearing this on my toes! Photo below shows two coats. 
Silly Billy – Orange creme. I found this one to be rather sheer and almost jelly like. I ended up using three coats for the photo because two just wasn’t cutting it for me. Probably not one I’ll get a ton of use out of, but you never know! 

Overall, I kind of like how butter LONDON went bright for the upcoming season. They are all about rocking the color lately and this collection ROCKS!

    My favorites? hmm…. hard to decide. Naturally – I fall for the Oranges and the weird colors so I would say Silly Billy and Wellis are the ones. But I am also really interested in checking Cotton Buds from up close so… I add it too! 🙂

    I like them all, but I’ve been looking for a white, so love cotton buds. I think I’d get a lot of use out of Giddy Keeper and Pimms too. The orange would be great for doing Halloween mani’s. I can’t pick just one, I like and want them all.

    Thank you for this contest!!! I am REALLY looking forward to Cotton Buds because I do a lot of nailart designs on my toes that require a solid white background. Getting it in only 2 coats would be awesome!! ( As a second choice, Wellies looks AMAZING!!! Nothing like any of the polishes I have! )

    I would LOVE to win these polishes because we don’t have Butter London in Mexico and I haven’t been able to purchase them online. Their website doesn’t ship to Mexico either and that makes me sad because they are so beautiful 🙁

    Isn’t it obvious which one would be my favorite? Wellies ofcourse! It can never be too bright for me and I think this collection makes a wonderful break in all the dark fall collections that are coming out.

    Giddy Kipper is even more beautiful in person, indigo/purple-leaning as she mentioned. But of course, the name Cake Hole is just irresistible (even though they’re recycling one of their classics)

    Pimms looks amazing, but then again, from your description, Cotton Buds just sounds so fantastic… I use white as a base so often and I’m always so irritated with the streakiness, how it takes SO many layers to get it looking decent before I can even start nail art or put the color I wanted to use in the first place on top of it… but then again, I think I’d go for Pimms. Can’t have enough yellows in my collection 🙂
