OPI Ulta Exclusive Too Haute To Handle Swatches!

Every summer OPI releases a collection that is exclusive to Ulta stores ONLY. This year, they have released the Too Haute To Handle collection which includes 4 yummy summer shades. Let's check them out!

Hot Fun In The Summer-Lime - This is SUCH a cool lime green color. Granted, I probably have a million dupes for it.. but it is still really pretty. A lot of you were comparing this to Don't Mess With OPI from the Texas collection, but the two are completely different. This is way brighter than that! I used 2 coats below.

Sand On Your Own Two Feet - If Glitzerland & Warm & Fozzie had a baby, this would be it. It's not quite a dupe for either.. but I'm telling you if you mixed the two together, this is the exact color it would turn out to be.  Perfect toe color for the summer! Two coats were used below.

Pack Your Booty Shorts - LOVE the name of this polish! This one was actually really strange to apply. I used three coats for the photo below and it was still pretty sheer. Again, this was compared to 'Funky Dunky' from the Shrek collection.. and I have to say they were nothing alike when I put them on the nail.

Funky Dunky is on my pointer and Booty Shorts is on the other two fingers.

The Flowers Are Blue-Ming -  Another recycled polish? Could be NOPI Blue + Me... But I didn't have it to compare to. Blue-Ming is a bright blue with scattered holo glitter. It is absolutely STUNNING. I took photos both indoors and in the sun.. but they do it no justice. Two coats were used.

What are your thoughts on the Too Haute To Handle collection? Are they too similar to past releases? Let me know in the comments below!

Availability - In Ulta stores ONLY beginning this Sunday, June 3rd.

Price - $8.50 (Although, the Ulta ad says 'Spend $17 & get an exclusive OPI polish for free) All stores will vary I'm sure.

Lacquer Lowdown - Despite the fact that I may already own a few polishes similar to these, I really enjoyed this set. If you put 'exclusive' in front of anything, I kind of need to have it.  Definitely head to your local Ulta store and check them out for yourself!

  1. My Ulta still doesn't even have the Spider-Man collection, there's no telling when they'll get these!

  3. Hmm, I was planning on getting the Flower are Blue-ming as my free one (good time to pick up Minnie Mouse polishes if they have them!), but I already have Blue + Me... so maybe I'll get one of the others. Wonderful swatches!

  5. I called two Ultas and they don't have the Too Haute To Handle collection! I'm so disappointed, does anyone know if these are coming out later in the month or if my Ulta stores are slow?! Thanks!!

  7. I got The Flowers Are Blue-Ming as my free bottle, and am severely underwhelmed. Even with OPI Start To Finish as a topcoat, the glitter can be felt on the nail. I should have gone for Pack Your Booty Shorts.

    1. Have you tried Gelous as a top coat? Two coats of that on top should smooth the glitter significantly.

  9. I don't see anything special about these. The green looks a lot like exotic green from sinful colors.
