Revlon was kind enough to send me bottles of their new ColorStay Longwear Enamel. These polishes provide up to 11 days of lasting color & gel like shine. These were inspired by salon gel nails without the UV light.. but WITH the shine!
There are a total of THIRTY colors.. and I have 10 to show you today!
L-R ~ Pale Cashmere, Fall Mood, Amethyst, Cayenne & Velvet Rope
L-R ~ Bold Sangria, Wild Strawberry,Rain Forest, Sequin & Spanish Moss
I tried to swatch and take pictures to reflect the colors the best I could! So the colors may vary from screen to screen.
L-R ~ Pale Cashmere, Fall Mood, Amethyst, Cayenne, Velvet Rope, Bold Sangria, Wild Strawberry, Rain Forest, Sequin & Spanish Moss
Color Breakdown ~
Pale Cashmere ~ Very very sheer light pink. This one was the most difficult to swatch. It hardly came up on the wheel or in photos.
Fall Mood ~ Light bronze with a hint of gold shimmer.. VERY pretty!
Amethyst ~ Light shimmery purple
Cayenne ~ Orange- Red polish with a hint of shimmer
Velvet Rope ~ dark vampy magenta color... definitely reminds me of a 'velvet rope' you would see at a lounge
Bold Sangria ~ Dark purple cream
Wild Strawberry ~ Hot hot pink!
Rain Forest ~ My favorite out of the bunch! Dark emerald green with tiny specks of green glitter.. LOVE!
Sequin Gorgeous metallic-y foil silver. SO pretty!
Spanish Moss ~ Another favorite.. This is an army green color .. very in for fall / winter!
The brush on these is fantastic! It's a double barrel brush and gave it a smooth, even streak free application. I was VERY pleased about that. All the swatches above are only 2 coats! (Minus the pale cashmere.. that one I gave it 3 so I could get it to somewhat show up in the photo)
So there ya have it! I personally cannot wait to see the other shades in this collection. The only thing I was not a fan of.. was the bottles. Definitely prefer the older style bottle better. There's just something about them that doesn't appeal to me.. but it won't stop be from continuing to buy revlon products!
You can find the unique 30 shades (Plus a top coat & base coat) in your local drugstores or on Revlon.com in January 2012. Suggested retail value is $7.99.
Will you be purchasing any of these colors from the new collection? How do you feel about the new bottles? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
